Turns out, the story I wrote about the nursing home workers being asked to take pay cuts or leave got someone a new job. He called the other day to tell me about it. Hooray!
In other news, I got a *very* angry, *very* grammatically incorrect e-mail from a dude I quoted in my look-at-all-the-people-watching-the-NCAA-Tournament-in-the-bar story. I quoted him saying that he was taking a half-day from work without his boss knowing, and apparently his boss reads the paper.
