In 2005, Chris Christie was cited in Lambertville, N.J., for speeding, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance, according to NJ 101.5.

A year later and a few towns away, I was pulled over for having a recently expired registration. My car was impounded for three weeks, I was ticketed for the expired registration, and I ultimately spent about $3,000 before I got it back.
Maybe I should have told the cop I was U.S. Attorney?
