Kitten saved

A black kitten who got out of her carrier in a subway station last month was found and is recovering after spending three weeks wandering around the tracks. She had a scratch on her nose and a broken leg, but other than that was OK.

The Daily News had tracked the story so people have been looking for the cat, and an anonymous donor added $500 to the $1,000 reward. Three MTA workers ended up walking around the tracks, meowing, looking for her.

Other than the fact that a kitten was saved (yay) it probably goes without saying that the last sentence of this blog is my very favorite part of it, and just made my night a little better.

That is all.
